A superb new course, arguably the best yet from an outstanding architect, Tom McBroom. A true test of chamnpionship golf with spectacular views. Date: May/99 |

This is a lush, beautifully manicured and conditioned golf course with hard, fast greens and slow, soft fairways. It played very lonnnnng! Perhaps it has a tendency to dry and harden up as the day progresses but that wasn't the case first thing in the morning. There was no doubt that the sprinkler system was working overtime at night! Although it is a pleasure to play, there seemed to be a certain repetitiveness to the course, particularly the par fours although things are a bit more memorable on the final few holes. This course along with Highland Links in Ingonish make for a wonderful double header when in the area. October/00 |
