Course Reviews

Course Name Golf Torrequebrada
Location Benalmadena, Spain
Comments from Bill Wright, Aylesbury, Buckingham, England
Andy and Bill discovered this Course in 1993 and have returned every year since. Neither of us have handicap cards, but despite this get a warm reception every year (this could be due to the amount of balls we buy or alternatively the amount of beer we drink there! It's like playing football at Wembley. Have you ever had 13 off the tee. However, there is having a line and a fat blunt too calm you down. Torrequebrada caters for all tastes.

Comments from Hamish Mcnaughton
Eveyone should play this course when in Spain's Costa Del Sol. A group of eight of us always play two rounds there on our bi-annual trip to the Costa. We vary from scratch to ten handicap and we all find this course, especially the back nine, a challenging yet fun course to play. There are some fantastic golf holes, my own favourite being the 16th. The club house is excellent, with a spacious south facing veranda overlooking the course. This affords the great luxury of letting you drink cold beer while watching fellow golfers play confidently to the last green, then smile while they stare in disbelief when their near perfect putt runs and runs and runs off the Augusta-like last green. Great fun! Don't miss this course, if out, in the area.
