Designed by Thomson, Woldridge. Peter Thomson (5 time British Open Champion)has created a course that is rewarding for the player who understands course management. Anyone getting the driver out on every hole will undoubtly be punished. Each hole presents various options in playing, you can almost believe it's a different course from day to day. Most memorable holes; 17 and 18. 17 is a long water carry Par three, you can use a driver when the wind is blowing or a good 5 Iron on calm days. 18 is a Par 5 th at belongs in Scotland. Pot bunkers at the Green and some in the fairway. A good drive will test your appetite for going for the Green in two. It's the most scenic hole I have ever viewed when the late afternoon sun glows golden on the horizon. A must pla y course.
