Hartlen is not a difficult golf course it's a links course in the pure sense of it. Anyone wanting to try out a Scottish links style course at a moderate price and travel expense should try Hartlen. You will find fog, drizzle, rain-wet ground, and wind, which due to it's proximity to the ocean, changes as the time of day. The only thing missing here is thick prickly "braemel bushes" as the Scotts call them.
