I was the Golf Course Superintendent there for about 3 years. The course is located about an hour north of Milan. It is a beautiful Robert Trent Jones Sr. design that was completed in 1989. It has wonderful views of the Alps on several holes. There are th ree nine hole courses that are played to three 18 hole combinations. The Blue and Yellow courses were used to hold the 1991 Italian Open. The course was rated #13 in continental Europe (that was in 1995, haven't seen a rating since then). There is also a little three hole practice course, chipping green, two putting greens, driving range, resteraunt and hotel with 20 or so rooms. As with most Italian courses there are tournaments every weekend and usually one day during the week. The signature hole( at least in my opinion) is the #7 Yellow, it is a dogleg lef t par four about 345 yards with your secound shot to an island green with Monta Rosa in the backround.
