This is a Jay Riviere and Dave Marr layout that opened in 1994. The course layout is a winding path through tall pines and hardwoods. It also has several opene holes. There are water hazards on 11 holes in the form of ponds or a drainage canal. The main f eature of the course is the exceptionally large greens. Some of the greens are four clubs different form the front to the back. The greens are usually in great shape and are fast by most golfers standards. The rough is pretty thick in the summer. This cou rse is straight forward in that what you see is what you get. If you strike the ball well, you can score well. the course is only 15 minutes from Houston's main airport 'IAH' and is definitely worth playing!
