Flat, well maintained course. Wide fairways for the most part. Not much water here. If you hit the ball left to right you will be fine. Par four #8 is real tough when wind is a factor. Hole #15 is a tough driving hole for most. Greens read just as you s ee them. Wind comes into play later in the day. A couple of the par fours are really tough, be carefull. Try not to hit the ball past the pin on most holes. On the par fives, if there is no wind you can get pretty close in two. Nice people in clubhouse an d service area.

San Jose Muni is a great course. It Took a good hit from El Nino this year losing one par three for a while. They have whipped this course Back to its usual splender. It's a flat, long and wide open course. Good for the average player as well as the low h andicapers. A very friendly staff awaits you at a nice full service clubhouse.

Not much to it. Flat, a few token trees, no challenge. A good beginner's course. July/01
