Best bring your long game with you. If you don't drive the ball well you are going to have a long day. I've never seen anyone reach the par five #1 in two shots. Greens are just like you see it. On #10 if you hit left to right use an iron off the tee, it' s a short hole (friendly green). On hole #4 just play for a five even though it's a par 4. Unless you hit the drive 280 yards or more it's hard to reach the green on the second shot.

They closed this course for 18 months for what they called a "complete redesign". Hardly, its exactly the same other than the grass now growing in what used to be marsh waste areas. Big deal! The course does play long. My favorite is the #1 hole that plays to about 650 yards when you have that 30mph wind in your face -- which happens often. The layout is Muni OK. If you're a big hitter, you'll love this place. If not, prepare for a up-and-downs for par. Overall condition is OK.
