The only golf course that washes out with the sea every year. It is set up each year on the sea ice out in the bay and is a short par 52 for 18 holes. The interesting part comes in how to dress for minus 20 below centegrade with a 30 kph wind. This added to the fact that you still have 2 foot snow drifts that are as hard as rocks and six feet of ice makes this a demanding course. Ice leads, dogs, seals, frozen people who took to long and snowmobiles all combine for an interesting afternoon of golfing. The 14 hours of sunlight that they receive at this time of year make for a great time for all.
