| To say that the folks are nice here is an understatement. The course serves up a great variety of holes with greens that are in great shape. Some of the holes are unusual like the 3rd, which is a long dog-leg left up hill (I mean up!) to a raised, slopin g green. Refreshments are very inexpensive. You can have an enjoyable day of golf here. |

| I once read a criticism of another course having to do with its proximity to an airport. Butter Valley has an actual, working airstrip running through the back nine. Still, I find that the people are very pleasant, the course is sporty, and the cost is quite reasonable. Fly in and play!. |
