Spring Valley is a beautiful and challenging golf course situated in Clayton South, on Melbourne's famous sand belt. Founded in I948 and first played in l951, the course was designed by architect H. V. Morcom, and is a stern test for even the best of gol fers. In recent years the championship standard course has been host to the P G A player's school and the Senior Open Golf Championship of Australia. From the medal tees the course stretches 6,085 metres with a par 71, 35 out and 36 home. It consists of 3 par 5's, 4 par 3's and 11 par 4's. Private.
