Beautiful and challenging 36-hole complex designed by Robert Trent Jones and only 90 minutes from Montreal. Very scenic course cut through pine forests, set amidst the Adirondacks and very quiet. I played the East Course on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in August and the place was empty. Very creative and interesting course in classic Trent Jones design. Large greens with wicked breaks protected by many large deep-faced bunkers. Very hilly course and the topography contributes to many interesting holes. The tees and fairways are in reasonable shape and the greens are fast and in very good shape. Compared to the Tremblant courses, this course is much less expensive and not nearly as busy and it is the same distance from Montreal. Well worth the drive. Plan to stay somewhere overnight and play the East one day and the West the next.
