Course Reviews

Course Name El Kantaoui Golf Course
Location Sousse, Tunisia
Comments from Charlie, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK
I have just played at the above course, The course is very well maintained and the greens are excellent. It has 4 9 holes courses with a further one being constructed. Very popular, well worth a visit - best time Oct - Dec. Because of the temperature, service by the staff is excellant.

Delays are inevitable on this course due to the design of the 3 9-Hole setup. Playing the course is enjoyable but for the more experienced golfer, take the 30 minute taxi ride to the Flamingo Golf Club where you will find the best course in the area. I have played all 4 courses in the Monastir/Sousse area, and they are all enjoyable but the Flamingo is definitely the best.

I have just returned from a golfing holiday in Tunisia where I played the 27 Hole course in Port el Kantaoui and the 18 Hole Flamingo course in Monastir (close to the airport) The queues at the Kantaoui course are long due to the design of the course although playing here is quite good. The Flamingo course is by far the best in the area - better than the Palm Links which I played 2 years ago - and is a test for all levels of players but probably too difficult for the high handicapper - the 14th is a test for the best of players.
