The Greenback course hosted the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship in 1975. The Great Blue hosted the same event in '00. All grass driving range. Both courses are Robert Trent Jones designs with spacious greens, multiple sets of tees, and an abundance of fairway and greeside bunkers. The older Greenback course is often overlooked compared to the much more difficult Great Blue, but it offers a better golfing exsperience for any but the very low handicapper and is 1/3 the cost.
