Elmhurst is a very challenging course with tough layouts for holes along with very humbling greens. The well-placed bunkers can prove to be a big part of your tee shots and your approach shots can end up in some very tight spots around the green. The par 3's are of a good variety. The par 5's will by no means be a "easy" birdie and in some cases can maybe cost you one or two if you don't keep it straight. The Signature hole is the Par-4 7th. This 411 yard hole is rated the hardest on the course and there are many reasons why. It is a dogleg to the right with tons of trouble right. Your tee shot must be straight and quite long as your approach shot must carry two very large bunkers that guard the green and where there is only a 10-yard gap in between to roll up. The rates are good for the quality of golf course that you will play. Adults go from $40 and Juniors are $20. Both must be with a member to play. When you have played Elmhurst, you can then say that you've played one the truly most scenic and challenging courses in Manitoba.
