| Classic Stanley Thompson design. Deceptively difficult. Many long par 4's with narrow fairways, often elevated, well-bunkered greens with wicked breaks. The course is always in good shape. The front nine is much more difficult than the back. Holes #1, #2, #5, #6, and #8 are all difficult par 4's and #3 is a 200-yard par 3 over a ravine to a well-protected green. Nice views of the city from the 1st and 10th tees. November/01 |
