This course was started by Yuvraj Smarjitsinh Gaekwad in 1996. The 12 hole course is long with preferred lies permitted on the fairway. The course is situated in the heart of the city amidst the magnificent Luksmi Villas estate of 707 acres. Plans are to create a completely new championship course which would complement the hotel that is planned using the palace. Visitors / foreigner can play, paying a nominal green fees of Rs.250/-. The greens are good though not of international standards. Coaching faclities are available.

A round of Golf on this course sets one an opprtunity to see not only Packs of Langoors, but also Peacocks flying across the fairways. In Monsoon season it is a common sight to see them do the splended rain dance to attract the hens. If one is lucky he might sight a fox on the 10th tee and a Cobra on the 5th.
