Course Reviews

Course Name Sunol Valley Golf Course
Location Sunol, California, USA
Comments from John Gronley, San Jose, California, USA
A very beautiful well-maintained and challenging golf course. There are 2 18-hole courses both challenging and well laid-out. The staff is friendly and the clubhouse is great offering sweeping views of the nearby hills and valley. Everything is in tip- top shape.

Comments from James Sophman, Milpitas, California, USA
Sunol continues to improve its facilities with enhancements to the tees, greens, fairways, and their Club House. At the rate they are going, they will have one of the nicer courses in the East Bay within a few years. The courses are challenging with the wind and all, but shouldn't stop a competitive golfer.

Cypress Course
Very tight par fours. Maybe use three or five wood off tee. Some par fours reachable in one. Wind comes into play on back nine. Most greens pretty small. Approach shot most important on this course.

Palm Course
Wind always in play. Fairways pretty friendly. One or two par fives you can reach in two. Most holes it's better to be short than past the pin. Remember the wind at all times, it can be your friend here.
