Course is an excellent beginner course. The top 9 is a par 3 course. Excellent for beginners and even young ones. Some water, no sand. However, walkers are not allowed. So if not all the children play, they can't come along. And if you want to go alo ng with your 6-9 year old player, you have to play to. Not exactly family conducive.

This golf course offers the largest junior program in Northern California. River Oaks taught 475 youngsters how to play golf this summer, thus keeping them off the streets and out of trouble. This was the fourth year this fabulous program has been offe red. I have always found this course to be extremely accomodating to my families needs.

This course is great! There are great instructors, fun holes, and challenging greens. I am a teen and they have prices that fit my income (not a lot) and they are always nice to everyone, even us young people! A nice family oriented course where you know everyone's name.
