Course Reviews

Course Name Lakepoint Golf and Country Club
Location Charlie Lake, British Columbia, Canada
Comments from Craig Stanley, Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada
At Mile 54 on the Alaska highway, it is, in my humble opinion, one of the best golf values anywhere. The course is as challenging (6800 yds, 72, 133) as it is beautiful, and you can play a round for $20(US). There are plenty of campsites around to park th e largest of RVs. Hope to see you this summer.

Comments from Jason Wallace, Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada
Lakepoint is to be known as one of the gems in western Canada. This beautiful, challenging course offers a variety of holes, ranging from 570 yard par 5's to delicate 140 yard par 3's that require pinpoint accuracy if par is to be made. The course boast s full clubhouse facilities such as a restaurant, lounge, 3 C.P.G.A teaching professionals, and full camping facilities onsight. Tee times are readily available through out the day, and rates are more than affordable. This par 72, 6800 yard gem will cha llange both the beginner and seasoned expert with its quick, sloping greens, forced carries, and rolling fairways, requiring accuracy from both the tee and the fairway. It is a Canadian golf experience one must not miss!
