Golf Île des Soeurs | Montréal provides one of Quebec's most unique rounds of golf and it sits only minutes from downtown Montreal. Though the layout is only nine holes, there is enough variety throughout the course to keep you on your toes. The golf course was built on the site of a former landfill but you would never be able to tell with the way the landscape has been transformed. The main advantage of starting from scratch was that the terrain could be shaped and molded in completely different ways on each hole. Golf Île des Soeurs | Montréal's signature hole, which has views that span across downtown Montreal, was modeled after the Heathland-style golf courses found in Australia, while the final hole draws inspiration from the seaside courses perched along the cliffs of the Monterey Peninsula in California. Also in the mix are desert holes and traditional Scottish-links holes.
