Le Diable, one of two golf courses at Mont Tremblant Resort, is tucked away in the Laurentian Mountains less than two hours from Montreal. The layout tumbles across rolling hills and glens dappled with pine forests. The challenging layout features long fairways that are straight and narrow and undulating greens generously lined with red sand traps. The course is a formidable test that demands both strength and accuracy. It is difficult, but it is not as challenging as the original course at Mont Tremblant Resort, Le Geant. In addition to the two golf courses, there is also a natural grass driving range with no time limit and unlimited balls.

Excellent Course

Excellent Course! Got to the course and the lady in the pro shop was super friendly and she explained what time everything was closing and what time the drink cart would be off the course. Drove over to the driving range to hit some balls. Excellent range all the balls are at the range. Went over to the 1st tee at my time and the starter was awsome. Told me about the course and the rules of the course and was just generally a nice guy. The course it self was outstanding! Great condition well maintained! Tee boxes were all leveled and in good condition. Fairways were outstanding well cut and kept! Greens were also in great shape and played on the slow side. Bunkers are very challenging and there is a lot of them. Every hole is different with lots of elevation change and very scenic! Would highly recommend and will be back!

Buddy trip perfect...

You can't go wrong with the area and several courses within quick trip form Mt. Tremblant village...and in Canadian dollars! This course was definite highlight of 5 day buddy trip...you need to keep your focus. The other 4 courses we played also great. Going back in 2020 for more...book in fall when nice and cool.

The Devil you do .. The Devil you don't !!

Of the 5 area Mont Tremblant courses this is easily the best layout with the most playable yet challenging course. The positives are all about the course layout any negatives would be about the "extras" only. Practise range is 5 star but there is no yardage indicated to the targets ... No chipping or bunker practice area and the putting green is tiny. The waste bunkers are a feature of the course and you are told you are allowed. to prepare your lie if you go in them But they see really a bit scrawny to say the least. Overall though highly recommended.

Great Weekend getaway course

Let me start out buy saying that after playing two shots in the left bunker, I hate the opening hole!

Now that's out of the way, I would recommend this course to anybody. It is pretty expensive but you can get a 2-for-1 pass at the beginning of the year and play the other course, Le Geant, during the same weekend.

First nine is mainly flat was the second nine is very mountainy. Conditions were great even though it rained from 1st to 4th hole. No sign of flood water on the course. It will definitively challenge you, but it plays fair.

A special thanks to maurice and rick who greeted me . The only one thing rong is when i got to the start box no one there . Old grumpy man shows up takes my cart number and rudly asked have i played here before . I told him yes so he replied nothing changed have a great day and sent me on my way rushing me to hit my ball as if i was late. Didnt get his name. Everyone else great . Thank you tremblant for an exelent experience.

A devilish course that will give you heck

Le Diable (which translates to "the devil" in English) opened at Mont Tremblant Resort in 1998, three years after its nearby sister course, the 6,836-yard Le Geant. Both are comparable, but Le Diable plays tougher with narrow fairways weaving through intimidating waste bunkers dug out by architects Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. Misses on the 199-yard third hole and the spectacular 221-yard sixth hole could end up in ponds.
The more mountainous back nine provides relief from the sand, although the dense forest eats errant shots. There are no fairway bunkers on holes 13-15. Views from the 15th tee stretch for miles, soaring across Lake Tremblant to the distant mountains. It's this moment that makes this 'Devil' feel more like heaven than that other place. Le Diable ranked no. 71 among ScoreGolf's top 100 golf courses in Canada in 2012.
