Attention to details
Keystone has a fairly challenging layout and could be a standout course in the region if attention to detail is addressed: 1) pace of play needs the help of course rangers with authority to terminate golfers rounds if slow play persist. 2) Tee areas need work and teeing spots need more frequent rotation. 3) Sand traps require more sand, decent rakes, and edging. 4) Golf cart fleet needs attention, seat covering repair and or replacement, drop down rain hoods repaired or replaced. 5) Fairway hydration needs attention. 6). More working ball washers and added pot-a-potty for female players.
Slow, dry, won't play here ever again
Course was slow, dry, ground was very hard first 9 holes were jammed waiting to tee off. Pin locations were in stupid spots. Like 5 feet from fringe in instance. Won't play here ever again baxter creek is better and well worth the money
Would not return
The best thing here is the greens well taken care of and good true putts. Otherwise that's all, confusion of what holes go what direction, layout is wicked tight and borders on dangerous. Pace of play was fair , was quite busy. Was on the cheaper end of weekend golfing but still feel it's over valued.
We used power carts, however, it’s a nice course to walk.
Great course
Great course. Well maintained and very friendly staff.
Was nice to have the beer cart around more than 3 times.
Play
Although well priced and significant improvements in the quality of the course the pace was horrible. We walked off after 13 holes after 4 hours. No marshal to keep pace going. Also no response to several groups calling pro shop to come out and see what was going on. Left phone number with staff to have owner call me with assurances they would but have yet to hear from anyone.
One of our favourites
We love this course and play often but it’s become very busy. We were waiting 10 minutes at every tee box which resulted in sone major frustration
Won’t be back
I used to like keystone, but this year, the pace of play has been horrendous and unplayable. I had to call a Marshall on hole 4 after I had been out there an hour 20, and they never even showed up. Do yourselves a favour and go anywhere else, besides liftlock. This place has gone downhill.
