Sturgeon Point Golf Club

Sturgeon point is a delightful course. Fairways are really wide and suits beginners as well as long hitters.

Nice course overlooking the lake. Good pace of play. Some long holes. Nice greens.

9 holes was just enough for the foursome as we are not accomplished golfers, but would recommend and play that course again.

Course and Facilities quite rough & ready.
Quality of grass, even fairways, not very manicured. But that's ok, it this course style. Just don't expect top quality.
Flat so easy to walk, but some par 5 are very long.
Don't like the big trees in middle of fairway.
It is beside a lake but you never really feel like it as you almost never see the lake (besides first 2 holes).

Sturgeon Point is a well kept, typical up north course. It has short, narrow par 5's with trees in the middle of the fairway to make them challenging. The par fours are mostly doglegs, requiring accurate tee-shots to score well. The greens are medium fast and run true. It was a fun course to play.
The best part was that it was an easy walk.

we are slow golfers and came late friday nite. we were told we could go at our pace which was great and we did. No one bothered us and we felt at ease.

We will be back. A very pretty course. The young lady in the pro shop was very helpful as this was our first time using golf now.

Fairways and rough were lush and greens were large, receptive and rolled real nice. Good layout with variety including a couple of short 4s. Can't wait to play again. This course has an interesting history also.

We thoroughly enjoyed the course. We were pleasantly surprised by the good course conditions. We got an amazing deal on the golf, so were not sure what to expect. Would definitely play there again the next time we are in the area.

Open fairways, pretty views, and nice to walk. Course was in good condition. The practice area is very nice.

Fairways undulating - seldom a flat lie - great for practice - taking a cart would be bad for your back.

Relaxing round with lovely view of Sturgeon Lake. Greens fast - fairways well maintained.

$15 for 9 holes and a bucket, walked it in 1 h 35 min. Greens and fairways in very good shape. Can park a 20 ft boat at dock as well.

For a 9 hole cottage country course, it was a pleasure to play and we will return

The course is fairly flat but you rarely get a flat lie. There are no water holes but the layout has trees to negotiate and there are excellent sand traps. There are no Tee times, but that is not a problem.
