!st time playing Savannah and certainly will be playing here again. Great layout with a unique look on every hole.
Great course
Great course at amazing value, played twilight on a Saturday afternoon and the pace of play was great. 18 holes took three and a half hours with a cart. Will certainly be back. Had lots of fun

Nice course despite grumpy starter
When we arrived at 12:45 Tuesday, we were told we had to go off on #8 for course maintenance (aerating greens). Once we came around to #1 starter then said we have to play the back again because the ladies league was playing on the front and it was a two hour wait to play the front. The starter was very abrupt and have my colleagues a hard time and attitude for questioning why we couldn't just play the round we paid for. When we complained at the pro shop, he said he would take care of it or give us a rain check. Within minutes the starter said we could continue on the front. Beautiful day, course was nice and considering there was no mention of aerating the greens, they played better than any aerated greens I've played before. Could be a top level course if they improved the customer experience factor.
Had a very nice day. Course is drying out .All the rough was mowed and greens in very good shape .Enjoyed the round altogether. Got held up at the 16th hole. The course can be busy up until lunch hour.

Best conditions and layout
I am visiting the area from Las Vegas. Spoiled with year round golf so it has been a struggle trying to find a course in good condition with the weather here. Savannah Links is by far the best I've played over the past two weeks. Pick up a course guide in pro shop as tee shots require placement and club selection. Beautiful course!!
This course can only get better as the season progresses.

Great day at Savannah
I am a new golfer, with only one season under my belt. Nuances of course challenges are mostly lost on me. I found the course to be challenging, but no holes were unattainable for me. My group was first off the tee, so pace of play was not an issue. The greens were consistent and slower than they looked. Walking the course is more exercise than most courses, but was not so bad to make me sorry I walked. The condition of the fairways was very good. All of the water hazards were very full, and there were a few extra ones due to the overnight rains. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The free yardage book was very helpful and a nice amenity.

good round at a good course
started on-time, course was busy due to nice weather but still not much waiting, interesting holes that challenge but playable , greens were all in good shape
One of the best values in the area
Course may be in the best shape I've seen it to date. While other courses are still pretty soggy, Savannah was almost perfect summer conditions. This is still one of my favourites - great value all around.

A bit wet here and there after all the rain , no carts allowed yet, walking hilly terrain was just great exercise !
