Good value
Allowing for the fact the course has only just reopened; Club house newly renovated but the food concession has yet to be properly stocked . Grounds were wet and muddy from rain earlier in the day. Only critique: the course map was not very helpful and needs upgrading.
Not all of the course signposts had been properly set up, but I'm sure that will soon be completed. Friendly staff. I'd definitely go again.
Hard to give an honest review
First time out this year and I probably shouldn't have played. The course was extremely wet from 24 hours of rain. Some holes were unplayable because of the amount of water. Wound up skirting around the wet holes and replayed the dry ones. The course is fairly easy to play. Wide fairways with a few normal water hazards and bunkers thrown in. Smallish greens.
Course needs up keep, fairways are hard, digging mess not clean up
Tougher than it looks
It's not pretty but it's a real challenge even for good golfers. There is a creek running through most fairways, lots of water, long holes and small greens. This is a great place to hone your skills for $30 for when you play your regular 18 hole course.
Good Budget Nine Hole Track
Parkshore was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting it to be a hacker’s track but it was in good condition and played to a fair degree of difficulty. Water everywhere and forces you to make good shots or go fishing on nearly every hole. Good value for money if looking for a basic nine hole course
Great for Beginners or Looking for a Cheap Round
This course is perfect for anyone that is a beginner and is worried about pace of play, losing too many balls, or being too challenging. The course is very basic (flat, no sand traps, lots of short grass, no bushes/trees interferring with shots) but has some really long holes. I came here with my girlfriend who is just starting out, and it was good for her to practice hitting balls on a course that had wide fairways and even the rough grass was pretty short. The grass is pretty beat up all over the course but the greens are decently kept.
If you're looking for a pristine course with beautiful holes, this is not the course for you. This course is perfect for someone that is just getting into the sport or someone that just wants to play a cheap 9-hole within the Brampton/Etobicoke area.
