We arrived to play. But course closed. No notification. Drove 20 mins to get there. Should notify if course closed. Called ahead no answer. Very disappointing!
Great day
Overall great value fur your money. Good facilities. Carts available but a very walkable course.
Enjoyable outing
This course was in very good shape, considering the lack of rain over the past 2 months. The greens were very good. We played the course at a leisurely pace (1 walking, 1 riding), since there was no one else out there, yet we still finished in under 90 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would go back again.
Good value for $
Found course on golf now..excellent price.
Good course for couples, very relaxing and
easy to play. Staff was great and helpful.
Waiting for the nine & dine.
Opening week for season
On the first hole off the tee you don't want to get far with a straight shot unless you want to go over the pond the fairway narrows and the second shot you will have trees . The second hole drive can put you over the hill and it is wet in the low area The second shot you should land on the right of the green due to the slope . After the second the course is fairly dry up to the 7th hole. The greens are in excellent shape and only a few wet spots on the fairways but no casual water.
Good choice for North Saanich golf
Pleasant outing. Great value from golfnow.com. Noon hour on Tuesday and the Course was empty. Much needed aeration makes for an occasional lumpy fairway, but overall the condition is good. We will return.
Very good for beginners
A nice setting with lots of trees and shade. Very well kept course with a variety of challenge levels.
Royal Oak was Top knotch!
What a great experience for our first time golfing! We met Gregor on the course and he was so enthusiastic and encouraging we felt honored to meet him!! Probably not the best course for beginners but a treat!
Practice course when price is right
This is a 10.00-12.00 course, any more and it is not a good value. Greens used to be better. Narrow course over all , but a good iron practice course.
Fun Afternoon
The weather wasn't the best, light rain for the first two holes and then by the 5th we could take our jackets off. This is a good course to get used to using your irons. My wife and I joined another couple(friends of ours) and had a fun afternoon.
greens
Green's were in great shape. Value was good price for 9 holes.
Nice coarse
Bit of a challenge for a beginner but a nice coarse
beautiful course.
Enjoyed this beautiful course. Nice condition, well groomed and beautiful layout. Great value.
A great place to take a beginner
Pretty course with lots of features such as water and uneven lies! Short walks between holes, no sand, and all par threes and fours make this a good course for beginner golfers.
Challenging short course
Not a long course, but very challenging. You must stay in the fairway on the par 4s. Greens are well maintained but tricky.
Good course to practice your short irons.
nice layout
4 par 3 and 5 par4. nice layout and well maintained. narrow fairways on par 4 so u need a good teeshot.
The course is in a good setting
A good practice course, especially for par 3 holes. The greens are well kept. Lots of raised tee boxes and greens I enjoy the course
