About
Situated in the Clayoquot Biosphere Reserve, Long Beach Golf Course is bordered by the ancient rainforest of Clayoquot Sound to the north and the rugged beauty of Barkley Sound to the south. The scenic west coast location sits equidistant from Tofino and Ucluelet. The golf course shares the beautiful terrain with an abundance of wildlife. Deer are often seen on the course and there have also been bear and wolf sightings. The nine-hole layout has a reputation for being one of Vancouver Island's most challenging. The narrow fairways are lined with dense forests. The course finishes with it signature hole, which may only be 180 yards but requires careful navigation. It's so difficult to make par that any player who makes par or better can enjoy 10 percent off at the Long Beach pro shop.
