A Course Of Pros And Cons

First, the Pros. Great driving range with dumpsters and a van as targets, lots of covered stalls, also lots of uncovered stalls if you like the sun. Great practice area with a putting green and two chipping greens with rough and a bunker. Same price for 9 holes or 18 and once you've paid for 18 you can play all day. Decent hole variation for a Par 3 course, some uphill, some downhill, one hole over water, 92yds to 195yds. Well equipped Pro Shop with a private deck to the driving range to test clubs or get lessons. Offers soccer golf which allows parents to play traditional golf while their child kicks a ball along with them. Now onto the cons. The greens run fast, almost too fast and it's not because they are high quality and cut to tournament standards, quite the opposite. Most greens have large blight spots and are rock hard. I'm also pretty sure it's been the same pin position since summer. The holes look more like putting into the end of a trumpet due to the edges having been beat up so bad. This trip they were also covered in leaves and pine needles so you had to clean a path to the hole every putt. The tee boxes are the worst I've seen in the 20 or so courses I've played. Most holes offer a mat to hit from but some holes just have a concrete square where a mat should be. The back net at the driving range is about 220 yards which means big hitters clear the back and bombard you with tiny meteors if you're walking down the second fairway, also, don't play there with yellow balls, because there are so many range balls on the fairway you will lose your ball in the mix. It's also a scorcher of a course in the summer, some holes have no trees at all, not exactly their fault but beware.
