IMO Par 3's are Ridiculous Length

To continue my Title, 5 of 6 Par 3's are over 210 yards from the Blue Tees. For mere mortals if it's not a Hybrid or an Iron it's not a Par 3.
In the heat I would suggest a Power Cart. Is a very challenging walk and in the Hot weather I would not recommend walking.
Course is good condition and the 4's and 5's very playable.
Greens are true and moderate speeds
If you're there for fun and to enjoy your round I'd suggest blending the Tees on the Par 3's to lengths you are comfortable with.
Rates are very good especially for Seniors but do factor in the Power Cart price
Apparently they do have shuttles for several of the steep transitions from Green to Tees but not on a consistent schedule.
Would be a fun course with Tee Blocks changed on the 3's and consistent shuttle schedule.
I think there are better courses to choose from in the area.

Pace of Play

Ive played this course many times years ago and decided to give it another shot. What I remember previously was if it was rainy season this course held more water and puddles than others in the area, and when it's summer time the pace of play and conditions were sub par.

This is exactly what happened today. Pace of play was so bad that marshall was going around asking groups to join together just because it was that bad.

Although BC is experiencing a very hot summer I felt that the course was too brown for what is going on here, also comparing this with several other courses I've played over last few weeks. If fairways in the desert of California can be green, BC fairways have no excuses.

No driving range and the practice areas are nothing special.

I will note that when I do reviews I'm taking in all my Golf experiences and giving it a rating. This is not comparing this course to 5 others in 10km radius. If I can play Furry creek for $59 and this is same price point then it gets same scrutiny.

I most likely will not return to this course, too many other options out there.

Great course

This course has it all. Doglegs, elevation changes, strategically placed hazards, great greens. This is a fairly challenging course...bring your game. If you play from the tips be advised that the par 3's all play 200 yards or better so you may want to utilize a different tee box or 2 just to change it up but other than that and the lack of a practice range (there is a net to hit into if you really want) this is a must play.

1st Hole Will Test You!

not a bad course. not expensive and even cheaper with entertainment book. coupons valid on weekends. drainage not the best. some holes were muddy. greens are decent but for the price, its hard to complain.
