Okanagan Golf Club offers two 18-hole courses, the Quail and the Bear. The Bear Course, the newer of the two golf courses, was created by the Nicklaus Design Group in 1999. The course features playable and receptive fairways that make it enjoyable for any skill level. While the golf course is longer than the older Quail Course, it is more approachable for beginners thanks to its gentler terrain. It still offers a fair amount of challenge though with towering pines lining the sculpted fairways and a number of strategically paced bunkers. Besides being an excellent round, the Bear is worth a visit simply for its beauty. When the sun pours in from the surrounding sagebrush hills there are few golf courses more scenic. In addition to the courses, Okanagan also offers a double-ended driving range with grass tees.

overall nice course but for the price its lower value. Lots of different tee box choices to match any skill level. Greens were fast and well conditioned. Fairways were mediocre. Better value in the region at different courses

Worth A Second Visit

We played the Bear course at Okanagan Golf Club for the first time this week and had a great time. The layout, for the most part is enjoyable, interesting and challenging. There is only really 1 blind tee shot which is great given it was our first time playing. Most holes wind through stands of pine trees which makes it very enjoyable and there are no house on the course which makes it even better. The conditioning of the course and the greens was excellent. Bring your A-game to be able to stop approach shots close to the hole as the greens are firm. Over all this is a good value and an enjoyable round. We will be back.

Sometimes you eat the Bear, sometimes it eats you.

A stunning example of 2 great courses.
We always seem to find a killer deal for twilight on the golf BC website. sometimes 35$ with. thats good! makes us play here a lot.

Great greens, Fantastic layout, Jack Nichalas designed. A real gem.

Doing the bear and the quail in a day is friggin great!, 36 distinct holes of greatness.

They have the clubhouse to boot. New hotel right near the airport has lifted this place into a full destination course.
Range, Carts, club cleaning, Marshals, Food, tournament services, all top notch.
