Birchdale Golf Course
About
Birchdale Golf Course is located just south of Mara Lake, a centrally located spot that is between the Shuswap and the Okanagan Valleys. The course is surrounded by rolling hills dotted by small farms. Since opening in 1971, the golf course has transformed from a simple chip-and-putt to a popular venue for tournaments and family reunions. Though the surrounding mountains provide stunning views, the nine-hole course is easy to walk, making it great for beginners. For more advanced players it's an opportunity to get some practice with your irons and it's also good for when you're looking to squeeze in a quick round. Birchdale may be a nine-hole course but it has the variety of a full-length course. The layout has a mix of short and long holes, meaning you'll need more than just a 9-iron and a putter.
