Slow As Usual
Used to be a favorite course but the last 7 out of 10 rounds (last season and this) we were faced with extremely slow play and waiting at most holes in excess of 10 minutes. Have we ever seen a marshal here? I think once. It appears that there are many senior men and women members here whom play at their own pace. We did encounter a few groups who did let us play through but generally not. 3 hours is too long for 9 holes and many times we cut our 18 hole rounds short due to length of play.
Gem in Creston
Surprisingly good course in this tiny town. Very inexpensive. I think 2 rounds including rentals & power cart was $100.
Lots of wild life, especially the 2 gophers that charged at my son in his backswing on a par 3. Hilarious! Had to give him a mulligan and a couple minutes to calm down. One ran right between his legs.
The pro was excellent - and took good care of us. The other golfers were friendly and very laid back. If you get the chance - Take it!
my favorite ;)
course condition was excellent compare to Carstairs xD
The weather was beautiful, no winds, no bugs on weekend of October 1-2. Greens are very challenging.
People are super friendly, in fact I lost my credit card on the course when I bought our beers but everyone looked for it and someone found it and brought it to club house and beer girl drove all the way to my hole and return to me!!! Thank you soooo much!!!
Creston pro shop
This is a really nice Golf course, well laid out with some very challenging holes.
However the pro staff need to brush up on their friendliness to visiting players. Also they held me to my T time, even tho the 1st T was open..
Great course with some awesome holes.
Course was fantastic. This course had at least five holes that could be signature holes for any course.
Great value. Greens were very quick for April. Loved it.
Nice scenic course but exspensive.
Was a nice course, but being charged $36 for power cart on its own was too expensive.
