Port Royal Golf Course opened in 1970 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. Set on the cliffs of the island, the course reopened after extensive renovations by Roger Rulewhich in 2009 that included the rebuilding of bunkers and improved irrigation for year round play with new TifEagle greens, and made Port Royal the longest golf course in Bermuda at 6,824 yards.
