This 18-hole par-3 course lies on the grounds of the luxurious Fairmont Southampton hotel and was designed by the legendary Theodore Robinson. Its spectacular changes in elevation make cart usage mandatory until twilight golf. The drop on the first two holes alone is a steep 200 feet.
Most of the 2,737 yard layout overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, but don’t let the scenic views distract your concentration, because the wind blowing in off the coast is a large factor and there are a handful of water hazards. The course is an excellent test of iron play and provides a good warm up for Bermuda’s longer courses. The Gibbs Hill Lighthouse overlooks the course.
