Jack Nicklaus designed the golf course at the Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run. The 18-hole, public course is touted as having one of the best layouts in the area. The par-72 course offers 7,014 yards of challenging and fun golf. Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run's design emphasizes strategy rather than power. Sand and water hazards add interest to the course. In addition to providing a great game of golf, the course also has picturesque scenery with the many oaks and pines that snake though the course. It has been named one of America's Top 100 Courses priced under $100.

Rude staff
I go to Hilton Head at least three times a year a play at least 2x when I go, the people that work at this course were the rudest I have ever encountered, I wont be back
Great Course and Condition
3 rd time playing this course, it is in great condition. Fairways and greens are near perfect condition. While definitely play here again.

Great Course
We always try to play this course when we come to the island. Greens are in great shape. The cart paths are maintained. Carts are in good shape. Lots of water hazards along the fairway so keep it in the middle.

Overall good course
Course is in excellent condition. Greens are all good. Course is just moderate difficulty so it’s a good for us 23 handicap people to play.

One of the better deals on HHI
Always a solid round Golden Bear, a beautiful, if unspectacular Jack Nicklaus course that’s consistently in good shape and more affordable than the majority of courses on the island.

We played at 2pm and got a 65 dollar rate which is awesome for this course. Well maintained with great greens.

Average course, great location
We played at 3pm on Saturday 11th May.
The course was generally scruffy, tee boxes were a mess, fairways ok and greens ran pretty well.
We paid the twilight rate, I would not want to pay the full rate.

Fun Round
Got to slip in an extra round while on vacation Had a great time, got paired with a young man who was a pleasure to play with. Staff was fantastic as always and the course was in great shape. Pace of play was good for the time of year (this is the 2nd best time of the year here). High recommend playing this course if you get a chance.

Fairways were pretty good compared to some others on the Island
