One of the reasons the play at Cimarrone might be slow is because at Cimarrone if you hit a bad shot, you lose a golf ball.
It is an extremely challenging golf course, and certainly worth playing!

Great Again

Cimarrone is back and I couldn’t be happier. For those who want to be challenged, get great service, and not pay triple digits for a round of golf this is the place. New owner has brought it back from the dead from clubhouse to the greens. This is the first season with all new greens so they are slow but so lush and pure. It wasn’t long ago they had more sand on them than the traps. Brand new carts with GPS, Bluetooth speakers, and option to order food is huge. I’m sold, this is my go to course in 2024!

Tee Times are incorrect

Be warned when purchasing a tee time online without calling. When they have outings they don’t hide the tee times on their website, or on GolfNow. So you will have driven their just to be turned away even after purchasing.

Worth a Second Look-Kinda

Played this course a couple years ago. We come down every year for THE PLAYERS. It was ok then but we looked for nicer courses last year. However, after reading the reviews that the course had improved under new management, I decided to give it another look and booked a tee-time. We heard that the pace of play was rough.....we heard correctly. It took over 5 hours to play. We nearly quit after 9, but my wife insisted that we continue because of the money we spent. The conditions were excellent. The layout is challenging, and the amenities are very nice. The only downside was the pace of play. I would easily book another round if it wasn't for that. I'm on the fence about returning next year.

Golf course is much improved from several years ago. You have to hit golf shots around this track. Can’t fake it here. We will for sure be back. Course was in very good condition.

2nd Time is Almost a Charm

Played this course 3 years ago but was told that it was under new management and significantly improved. This is an understatement! Beautiful course conditions compliment a challenging design. The remodeled restaurant has excellent food and friendly staff….don’t forget to order the pizza!
The only criticism is the terrible pace of play. We almost quit after 9 because it was so slow. 5 hours for a round is just too slow. We waited on every single shot!

Good value

Girlfriend and I were paired with two good guys and besides teetimes running about fifteen minutes behind, we had a great experience. Tees were a little beat up, but that’s to be expected this early in the year. Otherwise, course conditions were good, pace of play was tremendous, and greens rolled true.
