Many new courses have appeared in the Caribbean since the Tryall Club track was built in the 1960s, but the Ralph Plummer design has kept pace with the competition. Today there are many rivals for the title of best golf course in the Caribbean, many of them fresh off the drawing board and built using the latest technology. In the face of that competition, most aficionados would agree that Tryall still remains one of the top 10 island courses.

New look in store at Half Moon. Roger Rulewich will be performing some much-needed remodeling of the Half Moon Golf Course, designed by his mentor Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1961. It's hard to argue with Half Moon's reputation as one of the most complete resorts in the Caribbean, but time has dulled some of it appeal. The changes won't turn Half Moon into a White Witch or Cinnamon Hill, but Rulewich says he can add some appeal and make it a lot more playable.
