ive had the oppurtunity to meet mr. kelly on many occasions and ive never met a nicer and more honest man. Golfers tend to be conservative because they have patience and common sense. Jerry is a hard working, american loving patriot that took what little time he had in the offseason to visit members of our army. Under saddam people were dieing with no hope or a light at the end of the tunnel, people maybe dieing now but atleast their is a future now. People have something to live and die for in iraq and afghanistan now something im proud to have helped given them. All the cynics out there need to stop overcomplicating issues and know that work is being done. i think it's time that america gives its soldiers and patriots a pat on the back, because god knows its hard to go to war, but its much harder doing it without the support of your own country.

I would love to see the NASCAR guys driving around in those humvees. Can we incorporate their skills into basic training. Who would fit the bill for such a tour?

Now that the PGA guys have given the war such a glowing review, BushCheny~~Rumsfeld~~ should get the NASCAR guys over there, like, yesterday.

If they ever proposed an Operation Links Handshake Tour for Golf Bloggers would you be willing to sign on? I'd be there in a heartbeat. Not that it's likely to happen. I don't suppose.

Kelly may be a tool, but at least he chokes when it comes time to making a national team! I'm all for 75 fewer deaths per day. I'm also all for watching CNN and actually listening and deciphering what the commentators are saying. I've never found any news to be "all anything," unless it's the Onion, which is all sarcastic, all the time.
