Elin and Tiger Woods have daughter: Michelle Wie's dad offers to coach?

Tuesday June 19, 2007 | 07:47:38 am 136 words, 20127 views

When greatness passes on its DNA, it’s worthy of note. Nonetheless, there appears to be no truth to the wildly spreading rumor that B.J. Wie, Michelle’s dad, has contacted Elin and Tiger Woods, offering his service as coach and mentor to their new daughter.

And reportedly it will be Elin’s job to keep the Nike executives away from their child. At least until her third birthday.

And in all seriousness, congratulations to Elin and Tiger on the birth of a healthy daughter - Sam Alexis - and the adventure of parenting they are entering.

And while some will obviously look at Tiger’s fatherhood as a reason that his game will slip, think again. Woods is a pretty well-rounded guy anyway, and the added depth that being a father will bring will only add to his repertoire.

Michelle Wie's dad already ruined one career, what's one more going to hurt?

What does Michelle Wie or her dad have anything to do with this? The article isn't a least bit amusing. It's an absolutely pathetic attempt on your part at any form of writing. Get a life, do a better job as a writer, or go home.

Leave the Wie's out of this. Michelle is a great person with parents that love her very much. She will come back to great form and make idiots like you eat their words.

Tiger's Cub already has her own Nike sticks, to hit the course with Dad.

You know, it wouldn't surprise me if they had a tee time ready for tomorrow, and that Sam Alexis will go out an break 100.

You know, I know Tiger as well as just about everyone else here (not at all), but he's been on the radar so long, and we've seen him do so much, that, honestly, the birth of his child is really quite heartwarming. I truly wish the new "Team Woods" nothing but happiness.

Plus, it makes not making birdie at No. 17 a Oakmont not quite so devastating, I'm sure.

Yeah, let's hope Tiger doesn't turn out to be a
selfish, ruthless hypocrite like Michelle Wie's dad.
What a piece of garbage he is!!

Not only does Sam already have her own set of Nike sticks but I'll bet the execs are already dreaming up ideas for a line of baby clothes. She's going to be famous before she can even hold a golf club in her tiny paws.

Congratulation to Elin and Tiger. The baby girl has got to be just beatiful---look at her parents! Why look for a coach? Her Dad is just the best in world!

Lets break down these 4 paragraphs...One, to connect the Woods child to anything associated with Wie or her family, when there is nothing but a world of negativith surrounding them, and jusitiably earned, is poor tast and a bad call. Second, Elins job desription for the first 3 years is another poor attempt at humor. Three and four were a bit of a comeback and somewhat well said. Thats 50%, only slightly better than El Tigre winning when he tees it up. Now he has a club in his hand and you have a pen!!! Now think about it...you need some work! prediction here..Tiger wins the British as a birth present to the Mrs and Sam.
