Elin and Tiger Woods have daughter: Michelle Wie's dad offers to coach?
When greatness passes on its DNA, it’s worthy of note. Nonetheless, there appears to be no truth to the wildly spreading rumor that B.J. Wie, Michelle’s dad, has contacted Elin and Tiger Woods, offering his service as coach and mentor to their new daughter.
And reportedly it will be Elin’s job to keep the Nike executives away from their child. At least until her third birthday.
And in all seriousness, congratulations to Elin and Tiger on the birth of a healthy daughter - Sam Alexis - and the adventure of parenting they are entering.
And while some will obviously look at Tiger’s fatherhood as a reason that his game will slip, think again. Woods is a pretty well-rounded guy anyway, and the added depth that being a father will bring will only add to his repertoire.

You know, it wouldn't surprise me if they had a tee time ready for tomorrow, and that Sam Alexis will go out an break 100.
You know, I know Tiger as well as just about everyone else here (not at all), but he's been on the radar so long, and we've seen him do so much, that, honestly, the birth of his child is really quite heartwarming. I truly wish the new "Team Woods" nothing but happiness.
Plus, it makes not making birdie at No. 17 a Oakmont not quite so devastating, I'm sure.
