Lack of cheerleaders will keep LPGA, PGA from attaining widespread popularity
Browsing around CNNSI.com, I had an epiphany – until the PGA and LPGA get with the program, get cheerleaders and have them perform wacky stunts, they’ll never reach the heights of the NBA or NFL when it comes to popularity.
Exhibit A:
This double-stuffing Houston Rockets’ cheerleader shows why golf will never compete with other major sports.
