Overblown, Out-of-Context Theatre: Tiger Woods on Byron Nelson
Welcome everyone to “Overblown, Out-of-Context Theatre,” the blog where we take a random snippet of conversation from someone famous, and make a huge issue where none really exists. Today, we take a look at a recent comment made by Tiger Woods, on the passing of golf great Byron Nelson.
Overblown, Out-of-Context Theatre
When asked about his memories of Byron Nelson, here’s something Tiger Woods had to say:
“He was so alert and so sharp, even late in his ages. I mean, he would have a very articulate conversation with you, and you don’t find that with people at his age, being that sharp and that witty.”
Woods once again shows his callous disregard for the elderly when he makes comments such as these. In effect, he is saying that all people 90 and over are doddering idiots.
The only possible solution is to have all people 90 and older boycott all companies represented by Tiger Woods. Only when .0000000001 percent of his earnings disappear will he truly understand the harm he has done. Say goodbye to that grain of sand you were thinking of purchasing, Tiger!
Still, overall I have nothing but respect for Woods, but let me just say this: he is an insane, ageist maniac.

That’ll do it for “Overblown, Out-of-Context Theatre,” the blog inspired by bloggers that went off on Woods for questioning Nelson’s competition, and for the readers who called them out on it. Please join us next week, when we plan on totally mistranslating something said in Spanish by Sergio Garcia.

something to write about, it's a good
day. Point remains the same though.
Saying a few nice things about someone,
doesn't then give you a free swipe. What
Tiger did is the equivalent of a guy
droning on about how great someone is,
only to note that they stink at their
job. Or a "she looks great, except for
her face."
Again, not saying Tiger couldn't make
this point. The week that Byron Nelson
died just wasn't the time to do it.
It is hilarious when a proud liberal
looney such as yourself goes on about
people taking things out of context.
You guys never do that with Bush of
course ...
utters is examined looking for
anything that is not PC or offends
anyone and then reported in a negative
way. There are many famous people who
are easy to criticize but Woods isn't
one of them yet he receives more than
his fair share, I can only conclude it
is racism.
and many other great Black golfers were not allowed to play on the tourbecause of the color of their skin?
Some Dum-Dum even wanted to chastise "liberals" for what Tiger said. Tiger is one of the best golfers ever so the white people look to try to get him whenever he does anything they can jump on.He's here, he's magnificent so GET OVER IT and save your trash talk for your KKK meetings.
much into it. I mean WAY too much.
and I believe I heard TIger also said he believes the streak is NOT fully intact,(per the WGC broadcast) you stated the opposite earlier.
If he was white he'd get tons of bad
press. Cries of "racism" are great because
it helps identify those with low moral IQ.
Let me get this straight! you call Tiger
Woods an ass and call yourself booger?
