How often do we find that we would golf much more if not for lack of finances? How much more would we enjoy the game if not for the ridiculously high prices?
Well, some guy in Ohio is doing something about it. Looking to sell his body, and perhaps soul for a better golf season, this man has decided to offer bidders the opportunity to:
Sponsor my golf season!!!!! Tons of publicity!!!!
Basically, what this guy wants is corporate sponsorship for his golf habit. Which comes to playing golf about three times a week, plus weekend tournaments, golfing while on vacation, etc. For this, the company in question will receive:
I will wear your company shirts, hats…whatever you give me everytime I play golf, I will give your buisness cards out, flyers etc.etc. Put your company decal on my GMC Envoy (which I drive to every course) And on my golf bag, Or whatever else you may want. I am a very good salesman, I own and operate my own car audio buisness so I know how to sell!!!
Ok, the guy can’t spell “business” to save his life, but, hey, the enthusiasm is there. For someone who will be going out a few times a week, hawking your company to literally dozens and dozens of potential customers, enthusiasm is key.
So what will this e-dustrious golfer receive?
What your money is used for…. Green fee’s, gas or possibly some new clubs or balls, If you would like to throw in some golf equipment etc. please notify me so we can work something out. I am left handed.
Not a big shocker that the guy’s left handed. But it’s a solid idea. After all, wouldn’t you want the golfer you’re sponsoring to use the best equipment?
Currently, no one has bid on this sponsorship, and the starting bid is $49.99. Will corporate America take heed, and jump on this offer? Heck, I’m pretty sure you don’t even need to be a corporation or even business to sponsor the guy. So the question is, will anybody make a go for this offer?
Still, as if to sweeten the pot more, ntmnd_20 (as he’s known in e-Bay circles) is a people person, who will help your brand name shine:
I am very social and I meet tons people at every course I play at.
