A day without the Golfer Supremacy Rankings a safe bet to not change immigration

Tuesday May 2, 2006 | 07:23:20 am 415 words, 2743 views

The Golfer Supremacy Rankings have a strict stance on illegal immigration. If you can’t get in this country legally, than we don’t want you.

Of course, the GSR’s employ several hundred illegal aliens. Cheap labor, you understand. It’s the American way.

Golfer Supremacy Rankings: A rankings without an immigrant

1. Chris Couch:

Comments:
A week ago, Couch was lost in New Orleans, getting in cars with the “wrong kind of people” and being rescued by the police. Then, with a victory at the Zurich Classic in his reach, Couch nearly threw it all away, only to save himself with a miraculous 55-foot chip shot to win.

These rankings were invented for Chris Couch. Bravo.

Atta boy, Chris!

2. John Daly

Comments:
In his new book John Daly: My Life In and Out of the Rough, Daly admits to having accumulated gambling losses of up to $60 million.

“If I don’t get control of my gambling, it’s going to flat-out ruin me,” writes Daly.

When you lose $60 million and haven’t hit bottom and have a strategy of gambling less, you’re either an idiot, or John Daly. Yeah, Daly’s wasted tons of talent, but in the end, it’s much more fun to have John Daly than say, another Orville Moody.

Now, someone get me a copy of that book.

3. Michelle Wie

Comment:
A great week for Wie saw tons of stories on her charitable deeds in Korea, yet not so much on the massive endorsements and potential endorsements available to her in Korea.

Still, that link is to a The Chosun Ilbo page, and they have pulled stories before, leaving some social commentators in the lurch. We’ll see if this latest story stays up a while longer.

4. Kevin Costner

Comments:
After a Myrtle Beach charity golf tournament, Costner got up on stage with his band and performed original rock songs.

Kevin Costner singing original songs? At some point, the price of charity can be too high.

Additionally, Costner has recently been charged with committing an indecent act during a massage, opening up the terrifying prospect that he’ll write a song about it.

5. Michelle Redman

Comments:
Redman finished tied for fifth at the Ginn Clubs & Resorts Open, and was the highest-ranked American, with immigrants costing her nearly $300,000. In a non-immigrant world, Redman is champion.

Random Factoid: Chris Couch was ranked No. 368 in the world prior to his victory in New Orleans. Reports that John Daly is still kicking himself for not getting something down on odds like that are unconfirmed.
