How true! Many times I've watched a shot by a pro go into the trees or water, and said "Even I can do that, only my recovery isn't as good, and I don't get paid for it"

Have a good game..

It's unfair to compare amateur players to those pros we regularly watch on TV. Of course they are much better and much more consistend - that's why they're pros after all. A pro may hit one poor shot a round, whereas, in my case anyway, I'll hit 10 and then struggle with my recovery. Maybe there should be more amateur events on TV to make us all feel better?!

THE MONKEYS as you call amateurs are not learning because 95% of the instruction out there is pure crap. It's try this and try that hit it 20 yards farther just send me 3 payments of ____. You just have to learn a couple SIMPLE fundementals about the golf swing and learn to do them!! Steve Wozeniak PGA Director of Instruction Bellevue/Lake Spanaway Golf Courses

In the immortal words of Tommy Bolt to his Pro-Am partners who got angry about poor play..."you are good enough to be mad."
