The 3 biggest mistakes a golfer can make
What are the Top 3 mistakes Golfers make when they’re looking to find someone to help them with their Golf Game?
The number three mistake is being in too much of a hurry to improve. Many Golfers want to improve 15 strokes overnight, and that may not be a realistic goal. Small incremental improvements allow you to build confidence and a consistent golf swing that you’ll be proud of. The number two mistake is to listen to the advice of a friend or playing companion when you want to get better. Just because someone has more experience than you or can beat you by 5 strokes, doesn’t mean they’re going to give you the best advice for your golf game. Click here to read our article on “That’s What Friends Are For” to see how much frustration this could cause you.
The number one mistake a Golfer can make is trying to improve by him/herself! Many Golfers say – “I know what I’m doing wrong in my swing, I just can’t seem to fix it.” Or “if I just get some more time to practice, I’ll be able to work it out myself.” And the sad thing is that you could see this person a year later and guess what they’re going to say to you? The same exact thing! Why waste valuable time trying to figure this out yourself? Why go through the frustration of trying to figure out what you’re doing wrong by yourself? Is just having more free time hitting golf balls on the driving range going to help you enjoy your time on the golf course more?
Have you made any of these mistakes yourself?
