I arrived at 8:30 and teed off at 9:40. I was a single and me and another guy got paired up with a twosome. It was a Thursday and a beautiful sunny day so I got lucky. Be polite and courteous to the starter and don’t leave the area. If you are coming from the states make sure to mention you have come a long way to fulfill a dream. Don’t bother the starter but make sure he sees you hanging around. Don’t forget your USGA card because he will ask to see it. Asked the starter if there was any chance a single could get a game . A half hour later I spied a threesome on the first tee that was part of a booking where the 4 th had not shown up and as fast as I could pull out my credit card I was part of that group.
