Getting on the Old Course in St. Andrews may be easier than you think.

That’s the message the St. Andrews Links Trust wants to tell the golfing public, who hear tall tales of multi-year waitlists and improbable lottery odds.

During his recent trip to Scotland, Brandon Tucker had a chance to find out just how hard it is to get on the Old Course. The results are surprisingly easy.

John Stewart of the Links Trust joins Tucker on this podcast, and tells us everything you need to know about getting a tee time on the prestigious Old Course.

This podcast is supported by St. Andrews Links Tours.

Getting a tee time on the Old Course is almost as easy as finding the generous fairway on the 18th hole.

I would like a tee time on the Old Course any time the last week of July, '08. I have talked with and written to many people who claimed they could arrange a tee time, but none of them turned out to be reliable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the greatest golfing weekend 22nd April 2007, when my son and his friend and i played the Strathtyrum, the New and of course the Old Course. What a fabulous place. We enjoyed every minute. I look forward to going back in the not too distant future.

I hope the St. Andrews Links Trust about getting tee time at the Old Course. I would love to play there with my brother when I visit him in the summer.
