Linville Ridge golf course: A North Carolina mountain delight
Last summer I toured the North Carolina mountains to play, rate and review the area’s best golf courses. I was delighted and honored to be invited to play Linville Ridge which is among the state’s cream of the crop. Located at a vertigo-inducing altitude of almost 5,000 feet, it is the highest course east of the Mississippi.
The course boasts amazing mountain views and a number of interesting and challenging holes. The “signature hole” is no. 16, a drop down par 3 with unreal panoramic vistas.
Linville Ridge C.C. is a real treat to play and everybody lucky to get the chance to visit should take advantage of the opportunity. Click here for more information.
