DIAMANA W-SERIES: The Next-Generation White Board golf shaft
Last Christmas I got a new shaft for my Titleist driver – a Diamana W-Series – which I cannot wait to try out once springs comes around.
This is the latest product in the long-standing Diamana™ brand that’s captured more than 100 Tour wins globally since the company established its U.S. office in 2004. It’s the next generation of the very successful and popular Diamana White Board, with advances that take the original’s pure feel and sheer power to another level.
Building on the original White Board’s signature tip-stiff profile for better players, the Diamana W-Series has a modified and slightly stiffer butt section than the original, along with the traditional stiffer tip and mid section. This profile helps shot dispersion stay tight, with a low launch trajectory and low spin, plus a satisfying feel and feedback. Golfers of all abilities – especially those with higher swing-speeds – can swing away confidently, knowing that their shot flight will be straighter. The Diamana W-Series will yield a more stable feel, as well. As a result, it’s an ideal shaft for players seeking maximum control with low launch and spin.
Cutting-Edge Technology: MRC’s proprietary 3G MDI Technology is the foundation of the next-generation Diamana Series, beginning with the B-Series in 2012. DIALEAD Pitch Fiber in the “hoop” plies of the butt section allows our engineers to precisely fine-tune the torque and bend profile of the Diamana W-Series, ensuring that the clubhead remains stable throughout the swing and impact – delivering a penetrating ball flight with increased accuracy. Compared to multi-axis weaves, 3G MDI has less open space, giving less room for the fibers to bend and allowing for a stronger, more consistent design.
